I think everyone would agree, as we sit in the middle of the second lock down, that 2020 has been a  very challenging and unprecedented year. Whilst this year has thrown up all sorts of issues for businesses – maintaining morale, people feeling isolated and the issues of working from home in general, we wanted to share that despite the ups and downs of the year, we have continued to grow as a business and have recently taken on six new members of staff within our software consultancy team, tech support and call centre services.

All of our new colleagues have experience in customer service and software development and are eager to contribute to our customers’ success. We are pleased to introduce Joshua, Theo, Conner, Bethany, Aaron, Neil and Alison. Continue to read on to learn more about some of them, their background and hobbies.

Joshua Kennerley – Junior CMS Developer

I’m Josh, I’m 23 and I have just moved from being a senior handler for a law firm where I worked for a year assisting the team manager in the running of the team and ensuring high quality from the team itself. My previous experience ranges from retail and cash management to program co-ordination.

I have a Foundation Degree in Mobile computing from Edge Hill University and a BSc in Computing from UCLAN. In my spare time I enjoy going for hikes and discovering new music with friends.

I’m looking forward to getting stuck in at Zeus as this is my first chance to combine the skills I’ve learned in university and at work into practice.

Conner Colman – Customer Service Advisor

My name is Conner, I’m 22 years old and from Essex, England.

I would say I have a plethora of experience within call centre and office environments.

Having worked at Boots head office in Nottingham, outsourced for Argos and worked for smaller companies between Nottingham and Merseyside, I believe that working at Zeus will be interesting and also rewarding.

Hobbies? I have a few: I’m an avid gamer – I have played video games for as long as I can remember. If I’m not working or in the gym, then you can guarantee that I’m on my Xbox.

I’m also an amateur power lifter, so I compete in competitions nationally, but I have goals to compete internationally once I reach that level.

I’m looking forward to helping Zeus grow over the next few years.

Theo Barwood – Customer Service Advisor

I have recently graduated from the University of Liverpool with a BA (Hons) First class in International Politics and Policy with a Year in China.

I have a variety of customer service experience in the service industry, having worked in a diverse range of settings.

Originally from Devon, I settled in Liverpool for my degree and have never left.

My hobbies include a passion for music, as well as enjoying reading and running in my spare time. I am also a big fan of travel and the countryside.

Bethany Wilcock – Customer Service Advisor

My Experience has previously been in hospitality, I was the head receptionist at a hotel. I have always been very customer focused and I believe this will help me thrive in this role.

In my spare time I love to travel. Me and my partner are currently in the process of buying a campervan. So we can explore more of our own beautiful country!
